Free Webinar with Pro Audio Masterclasses and $250 Plugin Alliance Giveaway

May 04, 2020

Day….who even knows anymore….in lockdown here in NYC. It’s been important to me that while we’re all hiding from the Rona that I can contribute to helping other musicians, producers and engineers make some records on their own by partnering up with schools and music sites to host free webinars. Last month I did two one with Pro Audio Masterclasses and the other with a new local music school called Electronic Music Collective.

This month Pro Audio Masterclasses as invited me back for another webinar and this time we’ll be giving away a $250 voucher for Plugin Alliance plugins. The last one was a lot of fun and I’m sure this one is gonna be just as rad. Click here to sign up!

Bounce Boss Interview

July 05, 2019

Recently, I was interviewed for a spotlight by a new mix delivery service called Bounce Boss. People, if you’re like me and hate emailing references to clients or hate dealing with expiring links when receiving your multitracks - then this service is a godsend. I am not sponsored and in no way shape or form take any bread from these guys - and when Uncle Richie tells you something’s good - that means it’s good. In a nutshell you send your client a private link and there can can upload tracks for multiple mixes it all becomes organized they can even upload a reference mix/song. When it’s time to share your mix you upload it to the project site - your client is notified and you can even automatically volume match your mix to the ref - so no more having to compete with bullshit bricked out references. They can write notes in real time - it’s all timestamped - and you can then address the notes. You can also add multiple collaborators so more than one person can leave notes - so no more forcing a band or artist and manager and label and grand parents etc., to get their shit together and designate one person for notes. Bounce Boss is definitely one of the better services out there.

New Mix: KYOSi - All I've Had

April 25, 2019

It was great to work with KYOSi again along with her co-producer Todd Brozman for their upcoming EP. The project was pretty creatively ambitious and the pair insisted that a lot of the mixing “norms” that go along with electronic music be ignored. I love when I get to work on projects like this.

Interview with Sonicscoop →

April 01, 2019

I recently sat down with David Weiss from SonicScoop and we had a great talk about mixing, and gear, and one of my favorite things in the world: Distortion.

Check it out!

"Downtown" featured in International Ad for Huawei

March 13, 2019

I song I produced and mixed for Cazwell called Downtown was recently placed in an international ad for Huawei, a Chinese cell phone and tech company. The ad is kinda fresh. Also big shout out to Cazwell, I love seeing artists I’ve work with succeed.

2.28.19 - Mixing Workshop at The Electronic Music Collective.

February 21, 2019

On Thursday, February 28th at 7pm., come join me for a mixing workshop hosted by The Electronic Music Collective.

We’ll get into the nitty gritty of my workflow and have an open conversation about mixing records in today’s music industry. It’ll be rad, I promise.
